John Deleon Blizzard Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2024, at the age of 89, John Deleon Blizzard (Goldsboro, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Blizzard and Hettie Smith Blizzard; and his brother Jimmy Blizzard. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Lewis Blizzard; his sons, Johnny Blizzard (Jennifer) and Jeff C. Blizzard; his grandchildren, Ryan Killette and Alyce Killette; and his siblings, Wilbert Blizzard (Ruth), Shirley Blizzard Murphy and Patsy Blizzard Vinson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Seymour Funeral Home (1300 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Wayne Memorial Park (2925 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333).
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be given in John's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
