He was predeceased by: his parents, James William and Joyce Maxine Waters Newcomb. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Heath Newcomb; his sons, Alan Newcomb (Ashley) of Goldsboro and Adam Newcomb of Goldsboro; his sister Pamela Tyner (Wayne) of Bolivia; his grandchildren, Allie Mae Newcomb, Anna Lynn, Connor Bragg, Abigail Makatura and Takashi King; and his pet Rhett.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Bridge Church (188 Whitley Church Rd, Princeton, NC 27569).
