It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Estelle Reed of Goldsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Janet shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Janet farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hobday and Charlotte Hobday; and her husband Keith Byron Reed. She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Glaeser (Torsten), Andrea Jacobs (Todd) and William Reed; her grandchildren, Reed Jacobs and Rachel Jacobs; and her siblings, Gail Mick and William Hobday (Carol).
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the New Hope Church (200 E New Hope Rd, Goldsboro, NC 27534).
