It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James B. Crumpler Sr. (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Wayne County, North Carolina, who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Crumpler, Sr. and Ruby Jackson Crumpler; his wife Jean Bryant Crumpler; and his siblings, Barbara Crumpler Frazier and William Hampton Crumpler.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Crumpler (Mark), Tracy Thomas (Mark), Brad Crumpler (Brenda) and Kelly Crumpler (Wendy); and his brother Herman Crumpler, Jr. (Gloria). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
