She was predeceased by: her parents, German Datice Langley and Mabel Batts Langley. She is survived by: her children, Mitzi Barnes Powell and Donald Best Barnes II (Nicole); her grandchildren, Will, Barnes Powell, Aimee and Trey Barnes; and her siblings, Janie L. Leegins and Wiley F. Langley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to St. Luke United Methodist Church at 1608 E. Pine Street Goldsboro NC 27530.
