It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Elrod (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Elrod and Mary Nell Harris Elrod; his wife Betty Thompson Elrod; his children, Betty Dale Elrod and Clarence Jackson Elrod, Jr.; and his siblings, William T. Crawford, Melbourne Crawford, Robert C. Crawford, Jesse B. Crawford, Helen Lanning, Mary Owensby and Mamie Pirkle.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dwight D. Crawford, Phillip Crawford and Ellen Goode. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews he loved.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
