It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Inda Powell Harrell of Goldsboro, North Carolina, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roland and Blanche Marie Cahoon Powell; her husband James Melvin "Jimmy" Harrell; her son James Carlton Harrell; her brother William Arthur "Bill" Powell; and her granddaughter Diana Nicole Harrell.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Harrell Jeffers of Goldsboro; her daughter-in-law Phyllis Harrell of Eure; her grandchildren, Christy Bumgardner (Kyle) of Willow Spring and James Douglas "J. D." Harrell (Maddie) of Eure; and her great grandchildren, Avery of Willow Spring, Levi Bumgardner of Willow Spring, James Wallace "J. W." Harrell of Eure and Makayla Harrell of Eure.
