The memory of Hugh Franklin Davis (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Saluda, South Carolina, who passed away on July 15, 2024 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Enoch Bentley Davis and Nancy Lee Turner Davis; his wife Janice Mosteller Davis; his former wife Ellen Cleveland Davis; his children, Terry Davis and Nancy Marie Davis; and his great grandchild Treach Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Throm (Mark) and Darrell Davis (Linda); his daughter-in-law Val Davis; and his stepchildren, Sandy Brown (Bill), Sharon Davis (Donald), Tina Godsey (Tracy) and Eugene Cleveland. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorial donations be given to Jordan's Chapel Baptist Church in Mount Olive, NC where he was a member.
