With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Marie Barbour (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on November 21, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walton Shelby Strickland and Annie Mae Hall Strickland; her husband William Kenneth Barbour; her daughter Kim Dougherty; and her brothers, Mack Strickland, Jim Strickland and Billy Ray Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Barbour, Jr. (Paula) and Christy Turnbull (Dean); and her siblings, Deloite Strickland, Shirley Cannady and Annie Jean Benson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
