He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Bestland and Evelyn Bestland; his wife Mary Katherine Bestland; his children, Kenneth Charles Boyd, Stacey Seibel and Shirley Morris; and his brother Bobby Bestland.
He is survived by: his children, Harry Bestland of Goldsboro and Julia Vincent (Greg) of Ohio; his sister Patricia Bestland Hrudka; and his pet Baby. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Howell Funeral Home & Crematory (1500 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wayne Memorial Park (2925 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
