With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Edward Lee (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on March 26, 2025 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert David Lee and Elizabeth Smith Edmundson; his siblings, Rhonda Darlene Lee and Robert Clifton Lee; and his grandparents, Odie Edward Smith, Mary Evelyn Radford, Johnny Gilbert Lee and Nellie Harriet Marlow.
He is survived by: his siblings, Myra Gail Quinn of Goldsboro, Betty Sue Daughtry of Snow Hill, Lisa Harriet Grant of Goldsboro, Karen Elizabeth Acevedo of Auburn, NY and Johnny Ray Lee of Butner; and his close friends, Susan Leonard, Billy Ray Folgers and Gary Person. He is also survived by one uncle, one aunt, and numerous beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Rouse Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
