As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Evelyn Carter may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Carter and Helen Chase Carter Jones; her husband Arthur Phelps; and her sons, Martin Phelps and Timmie Phelps.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Scott (Alan) and Juanita Phelps (Robbie); her sister Doris Lee Carter; and also Connie Lee (Jerry). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
