We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2024, at the age of 98, Ernestine Whitted Wooten (Goldsboro, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Whitted and Mable Rue Whitted. She is survived by: her children, John Henry Wooten, Jr. (Georgetta) and Nancy Victoria Wooten Coor; her granddaughter Pamela Wooten Spencer; her great grandchildren, Abrianna Spencer and Alysse Spencer; and her sister Ruth Whitted Britt (Eddie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
