She is survived by: her children, Sharon Jernigan, Michael Smith and Brenda Hawkins; and her siblings, James Whitfield, Frankie Whitfield (Billi Jean), Dick Whitfield and Joy Foster. She is also survived by three grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
