Elizabeth Tavenner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2024, at the age of 93, Elizabeth Tavenner of Goldsboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Mary Thompson Moffett; her husbands, Shirley Thomas Poland and Richard Tavenner; her daughter Karen Lee Poland; and her siblings, William E. Moffett, Bernard J. Moffett, Arthur E. Moffett and Elma Mankin.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas E. Poland (Yupin) of Goldsboro, Gary W. Poland (Phyllis) of Florida, Mary Elizabeth Ntouskas of Virginia and Patricia A. Wiseman of Virginia; and her sisters, Virginia Bernoff of North Carolina, Mary Ellen Judd of Virginia and Beverly Landymore of Maryland. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
