She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Martin and Bertie Bell Martin; her husband Sam Leroy Watson, Sr.; her granddaughter Crystal Thomas; her great grandchild Wendy Thomas; and her siblings, Opal Watson, Pearl Martin, Carl Leonard Martin and Ennis Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Sam Watson, Jr. of Clayton and Betty W. Grechanik of Alexandria, VA; her grandchildren, Amanda Adams and Bobby Arcenia; and her nephew Carl Watson.
