She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Leo and Polly Hobbs McCumber; her husband William Cecil Lewis; her daughter Melody Diane Coltrane; her son-in-law Kenneth Butler; her brother James Calvin McCumber; and her grandchildren, Tina Lynn Lewis and Michael Anthony Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Lewis (Pat) of Goldsboro, Jackie Butler of Goldsboro and Sheila Doherty of Goldsboro; her son-in-law Glenn Coltrane of Goldsboro; and her sister-in-law Linda W. McCumber. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
