He was predeceased by: his grandfather Felix Thurman Summerlin, Sr.; and his uncles, Felix "Bud" Thurman Summerlin, Jr. and James "Jimmy" Douglas Summerlin. He is survived by: his mother Brenda Linker of Goldsboro; his sister Karen Linker (Jeremy Alexander) of Goldsboro; his grandmother Myrtle Summerlin of Goldsboro; his niece Elizabeth Linker; his caregiver Samantha Grant; and his cousin Sonny Edgerton.
