She is survived by: her husband Ignacio Gil; her daughters, Rosi Vega (Rosario), Rebecca Huerta (Baltazar), Leticia Zavala (Benito), Blanca Castaneda (Onofre), Maria Gil and Edith Gil (Ryan); and her brother Alberto Avila. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
