It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Jane McLendon of Goldsboro, North Carolina, born in Coats, North Carolina, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Cecil Harlee Joyner. She is survived by: her mother Willie Gray Joyner; her husband Michael Eugene McLendon; and her children, Chris McLendon (Gerri McLendon) and Sydnie McLendon Bill (David Bill). She is also survived by five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Paws 4 People Foundation or to Wayne County Animal Services.
