He was predeceased by: his parents, David Ralph Edgerton, Sr. and Nora Lee Barnes Edgerton. He is survived by: his sister Sandra E. Smith of Goldsboro; and his niece Stefanie L. Smith (Louis Di Felice) of Wilmington.
