With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Thompson (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Wayne County, North Carolina, who passed away on May 11, 2024 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Darlene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Darlene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Eric Thompson. She is survived by: her parents, Joshua Bartlett and Linda Smith Bartlett of Goldsboro; her son Hunter Thompson (Kayla Raynor) of Rosewood; her brothers, Allen Bartlett (Sandra) of Rosewood and David Bartlett (Crystal) of Goldsboro; and her pet Pixie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any lung or liver charity in her memory.
