She was predeceased by: her parents, James Roger and Elizabeth Warren Rose; her husband Kagie Parnell; her siblings, James "Jimmy" Rose and Betty Rose McKinnon; her grandson Daniel Parnell; her nephew Wayne Rose; and her niece Paula Rose Porter.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Ray Parnell (Terri) and Kenneth Parnell (Sherry); her grandchildren, Josh Parnell (Karla), Lindsey Parnell (Ty) and Chase Parnell (Ariel); her great grandchildren, Madison, Will, Hadley and Kody (Chase); her sister Ann Rose Parrish; her sister-in-law Nancy Rose; and her close friend Sam.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Seymour Funeral Home (1300 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery (3888 US-70, Princeton, NC 27569).
