She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin J. Mozingo and Ruth Hopewell Mozingo; and her parents-in-law, Margaret and Talmage Thigpen, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Thigie Thigpen; her daughter Ginger Thigpen Winter (James); her grandchildren, Railee Winter, Kade Winter and Aerolynn Ferrante; and her brother David Mozingo. She is also survived by many cousins, friends.
