Cindy Mozingo Thigpen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cindy Mozingo Thigpen (Goldsboro, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2025 at the age of 65. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin J. Mozingo and Ruth Hopewell Mozingo; and her parents-in-law, Margaret and Talmage Thigpen, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Thigie Thigpen; her daughter Ginger Thigpen Winter (James); her grandchildren, Railee Winter, Kade Winter and Aerolynn Ferrante; and her brother David Mozingo. She is also survived by many cousins, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christ Church (1314 Patetown Rd, Goldsboro, NC 27530). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pikeville Cemetery.
