She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Edward Ricks and Hansford Thornton Ricks. She is survived by: her husband Donald Larry Jenkins; her sons, Donald Larry "D. J." Jenkins, Jr. (Tiffany), Jason Ray Jenkins (Theresa) of Ohio and Alan Christopher Jenkins of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Isabelle Jenkins, Noah Jenkins and Michael Jenkins; and her brother Phillip Ray Ricks (Beverly) of Oak Island. She is also survived by her family, friends.
