The memory of Charles Lee of Goldsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 18, 2024 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid Charles farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Charles is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Crystal Gail Lee; his parent Hilda Wiggins; and his siblings, Susie Barefoot, Darlene Johnson and Billy Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Lee; and his children, Shelby Allan (John) of Clayton, Linda Beddingfield (Morris) of Atlantic Beach and David Lee (Michelle) of Kenly. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church (3859 US Hwy 70 W, Goldsboro, NC 27530).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Ray's memory to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 3162 Harper House Road Four Oaks, NC, 27524.
