She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Person Parrish and Leola Lee Parrish. She is survived by: her children, Chuck Lane (Debbie), Lynn Barwick (Roger) and Crystal Lane Weeks (Eric); her siblings, Glenda Rose Pearse, Gardner Parrish and Laura La Shea Scheppf; her grandchildren, Conner Adams (Jessica), Kailey Adams, Nicholas Adams (Linn), Shelby Lane, Macy Weeks and Anna Kate Weeks; and her great grandchildren, Brenna Adams, Emma Adams and Ava Lane.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home (2873 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333). A reception was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
