He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Watson and Helen Louise Lutts Smith; and his daughter Diane Pinkham Smith. He is survived by: his former wife Lynne Kirkup of Rutherford, NC; his daughter Jessica Lynne Cerny; his siblings, Bradley Trafton of California, Mark Trafton of New Hampshire, Amy Trafton of New Hampshire and Susan Trafton of Vermont; his grandsons, Shamus Cerny and Nathan Cerny; and his great grandchild Paisley Mae Cerny.
