She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Jones Summerlin Sr. and Josephine Jones Summerlin. She is survived by: her cousin Linda; her daughter Brittney Taylor Adler (Derek) of Charlotte; her grandsons, Jack and Henry Adler of Charlotte; her siblings, Willie Summerlin Jr. (Donna Cannon) of Goldsboro and Linda Juba of Goldsboro; her nephews, Trey Summerlin of Goldsboro and Nicholas Summerlin of Wilmington; and also Tony Taylor (Rita).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Seymour Funeral Home (1300 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages a donation to the Alzheimer's Association or Sutton's Retirement Center.
