With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billie Darden Lancaster (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Wayne County, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 18, 2024 at the age of 67. She was predeceased by: her father William Samuel Darden; her stepfather Devid Allen Smith; and her brother Marlon Mashea Darden. She is survived by: her mother Maggie Rebecca Gurley Smith; her husband James Curtis Lancaster, Jr.; her sons, Keith Lancaster (Sheri) and Jamie Lancaster (Natalia); her stepson Wesley Holland; her grandchildren, Michael Keith Lancaster, Matthew Lancaster, Sarah Lancaster and Maggie Lancaster; her stepgrandchildren, Erin, Eric and Justin Holland; and her sisters, Edlena Norman and Elgie Rebecca Holmes. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren, as well as many other children.
