She was predeceased by: her husband James Brown of Petersburg, VA.. She is survived by: her parents, Gloria Artis and Joseph Hamlin; her sister Towana Rojas (Daniel); her children, Natash M. Hamlin of Fayetteville, NC, Terriyonda L. Hayes (Shawn) of Fayetteville, NC, Andre Hamlin (Chesterfield) and DeAndre Hamlin (Richmond); and her friend Drextel Wright. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
