He was predeceased by: his father Alton Powell; his wife Wanda Jenkins Powell; and his daughter Brittany Lee Powell. He is survived by: his mother Rachel Lambert Powell; his children, Timothy Brent Powell (Nikki Newlin) and Kasey Powell Ezzell (Kyle); his sisters, Ann Worley, Faye Best and Jean Evans; and his grandchildren, Molly Grace Ezzell and Klint Ezzell.
