He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Linley Wells Sr. and wife Florence as well as his daughter Diane Wells Coutts and grandson Robert Coutts Jr. : He is survived by his sisters, Mary Lou Chambers of Bethany, WV and Nola Cronin of Wellsburg, WV; his children, Michael L. "Lightnin" Wells of Fountain, NC, Cynthia W. Leonard (Mark) of Farmville, NC and son-in-law Robert Coutts of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Melissa Coutts Turner (Elliott) of Pikeville, Linley Coutts of Goldsboro, Nathan Leonard of Black Mountain, NC, Alison Hoyme (Matt) of Kaui and Jacob Leonard of Winston-Salem, NC; his great grandchildren, Raiford Turner, Leah Turner, Simone Hoyme, Isabelle Hoyme and Charles Love.
