It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan H. Merlin (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Merlin and Dorothy Merlin. He is survived by: his wife Faye E. Merlin; his children, Joseph Merlin (Miriam) of Greenville, SC and Crystal Carter (Brian) of Goldsboro; and his grandchildren, Alli Merlin, Noah Carter and Addison Carter.
