With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Adell Benton Jones (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on October 17, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory J. Jones (Carolyn) of Summerville, SC and Tammy Strickler (Jeff) of Stephens City, VA; her grandchildren, Jason Jones, Blake Jones, Christina Schartel, Sarah Schartel and Hannah Strickler; her great grandchildren, Jaxon and Mia; and her siblings, Georgia Thornton of Goldsboro, JoAnn Barfield (Randall) of Goldsboro, Linwood Ralph Benton, Donald Benton of Princeton, Tommy Benton of Clayton, Bertha Lynch of San Antonio, TX and Betty Ross (George) of Denver, CO. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
