She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Daniel Vandiford and Katie Davenport Vandiford; her husband James Leonard Gatlin III; and her siblings, Effie Lee Simmons, Maggie Harper, Matthew Daniel Vandiford, Jr., Billy Vandiford, Joyce Cullipher, Kay Frances Kilpatrick, Elizabeth Boyd and Deanie Chappelear.
She is survived by: her sons, James Leonard Gatlin, IV (Ginger), Gary Paul Gatlin (Pam) and Kenneth Matthew Gatlin (Kim); her grandchildren, Sarah Gatlin, Tyler Gatlin (Alyssa) of James, Leonard Gatlin and Michael Broadwater; her great grandchild Elliot Gatlin; and her sisters, Barbara Adams, Sandra Faye Jones and Lou Banta. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews she loved.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Addie's memory to the charity of one's choice.
