With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lucretia Trent-Wyatt of Gold Hill, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lucretia left this world on February 28, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Culp Trent and Eloise Martin Trent. She is survived by: her husband Larry E. Wyatt; her stepson Nathan A. Wyatt (Dominique); her granddaughter Camryn; her sister Myrtis Trent Trexler (Donnie) of Gold Hill; her nieces, Jodie Trexler Rich (Dylan) and Amie Trexler Capano (Jared); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Emma, Owen, Aiden, Daryl and Ellie.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (2070 Emanuel Church Rd, Rockwell, NC 28138). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Because of Lucretia's love of animals, the family asks that memorials be made to Shelter Guardians, Inc., P.O. Box 1934, Salisbury, NC 28145-1934, who work alongside Rowan County Animal Shelter to assist with homeless animals and to provide animals a future.
