He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Adam Troutman and Zula Burris Troutman; his wife Faye Bratton Troutman; his children, Johnny Keith Troutman and Paula Faye Troutman; and his siblings, Shirley Troutman, Alma Roseman, Blanche Burleson, Jeannette Souther, Frankie Shelton, Shelby Jean Miller, Brenda Norris, Fred Troutman and Tate Troutman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Johnston (David) of Salisbury, NC and Susan Troutman of Gold Hill, NC; his grandchildren, Heather Overcash (Derek), Christopher Johnston (Katelyn), Taylor Johnston (Kerri), Brandi Franklin, Kevin Brown and Cassie Jo Martin; his great grandchildren, Madison, Emmalee, Greyson Overcash, James, Liam Johnston, Elijah, Mary Franklin, Kaydi Sutphin, Serenity, Brently, Braylin Brown, Andrew, Corbin, Alyssa Martin and Lily Sbaiti; and his sisters, Kay Cook and Sarah "Mickey" Lowder.
