He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Ridenhour and Dorothy Brown Ridenhour; his wife Margaret Deal Ridenhour; his daughter Robyn Avis Earnhardt; his siblings, Owen "Speedy" Ridenhour, Franklin Delano "Frank" Ridenhour and Dorothy "Faye" Barnhardt; and his son-in-law Flake.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Marcella Henderson and Cindy Neely (Derrick); his son-in-law Billy Earnhardt; his siblings, Thomas Leroy "Tommy" Ridenhour (Helen) and Hayden Douglas "Doug" Ridenhour (Myrtle); his grandchildren, Hollie Holder (Brittany Musaffi), Ali Edwards (Cameron) and Billy Earnhardt (Nicole); and his great grandchildren, Louis and Harvey Edwards.
