He is survived by: his wife Mildred Barbee Vanhoy of Gold Hill, NC; his children, Arnold Vanhoy (Laura) of Richfield, NC, Renee Lambert of Gold Hill, NC, Sandra Carelock of Richfield, NC and Scott Vanhoy (Robin) of Catawba, NC; his grandchildren, Ashley Lambert, Gerri Lambert, James Carelock (Hannah), Jessica Covington (Jesse), Paul Carelock, Molly Vanhoy, Emma Vanhoy, Hannah Vanhoy, Jessie Wilkins, Jamie Wilkins and Seth Wilkins; his great grandchildren, Miriam, Naomi and Samuel; and his siblings, Jean Stroupe, Sherrill Vanhoy, Don Vanhoy, Lynn Vanhoy and Reggie Vanhoy.
