He is survived by: his wife Ruth Hill Hammill; his daughter Donna Ruth Miller (David) of Gold Hill; his son-in-law Dr. Leslie Lamonte Weaver, Jr. of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Nathan Miller (Morgan) of Lexington, KY, Austin Miller of Concord, Tamaura Miller of Gold Hill, Wesley Weaver of Raleigh and Elizabeth Weaver of Raleigh; and his siblings, Edwin Hammill (Carolyn) of Gold Hill, Patricia Williams (Robert Williams) of Hickory and Luan Almond (J. D.) of Gold Hill. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
