He was predeceased by: his parents, George Loyd Blalock and Dorothy Treece Blalock; and his wife Pauline Russell Blalock. He is survived by: his sons, Ashley Blalock of Albemarle, NC, Bret Blalock (Heather) of Mt. Gilead, NC and Brian Blalock (Crystal) of Polkton, NC; and his stepchildren, Cindy Harrell (Randy) of New London, NC, Todd Saville of New London and Bob Saville (Beth) of New London, NC. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
