He is survived by: his parent Ruby Irene Barnhardt Cole; his wife Penny Onessa Sparks Cole; his daughters, Amanda Cole Goodin of Clemmons and Sunny Leigh Nolen (Joshua) of Wilkesboro; his stepdaughter Elisa Hedrick of Winston-Salem; and his sister Deborah Cole Misenheimer of Rockwell.
