It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen McCorquodale (Godwin, North Carolina), born in Cumberland, North Carolina, who passed away on August 17, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Irene Mitchell and Leslie Phillips; her children, Chuck McCorquodale and Linda McCorquodale; her husband Raymond McCorquodale; and her siblings, Garfield Phillips and Margaret Taylor.
She is survived by : her daughters, Kay Owens-Wicker (Johnny) of Godwin and Wanda Phillips Culbreth of Niceville, Florida; her sister Linda Faye Phillips Reaves of Niceville, Florida; her grandchildren, Whitney Culbreth, Michael Ryan Culbreth, Jimmie Owens, Jr. (Melissa) and James Raymond Owens (Roseline); and her great grandchildren, Anthony, Abigail and Amanda.
