She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace "Dock" Gainey and Reva Strickland Gainey; her siblings, Beatrice Gainey House and Wallace Gainey, Jr.; and her brothers-in-law, James Hoyt Warren and Wallace House.
She is survived by: her husband Kenny Brewington; her daughter Renee McCorquodale (Bill) of Godwin; her granddaughters, Holly Quarterman (Will) of Midland, GA and Nicole Matthews (Michael) of Autryville; and her sisters, Ethel Grey Warren of Fayetteville and Ida Jean Gainey of Dunn.
Memorials may be made to the Strickland Family Cemetery.
