He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd Phillips and Erma Hawley Phillips. He is survived by : his wife Peggy Sharon Phillips; and his children, L. J. Phillips (Sue), David Phillips (Diane), Richard Phillips, Renee Norris, Vanessa Strickland (Tim), Joye Carpentier and Tammy Williams (Glenn). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
