She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Faye, Shirley Jones, Phyllis Newton of Godwin, NC and Dixie Newton (Billy) of Roseboro, NC; her granddaughters, Kakisha Jones, Vicky Jones, DeNesha Owens and Angela Newton; and her sisters, Ida Bell McBride and Lue Oler Blue. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
