It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Dawn Goodman of Godwin, North Carolina, who passed away on January 24, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Herring and Lecie P. Herring; her grandson Jase Avery; and her sisters, Barbara Autry and Jill Pope.

She is survived by : her husband Lee Goodman of Godwin; her children, Terry Clark (Courtnie) of Princeton and Kerry Avery (Jason) of Godwin; her siblings, Ricky Herring (Rhonda) of Benson, J. A, Cracker Herring (Wendy) of Benson and Ann Boyette of Dunn; her grandchildren, John Clark (Rachel), Kerry Lynn Avery, Megan Clark and Gracie Clark; and her great grandchildren, Magnolia and Greyson Clark.
