He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gillikin and Violet Gillikin of Otway, NC; and his siblings, Ralph Gillikin, Claude Gillikin, Orvil Gillikin, Rodger Gillikin, Iona Lawrence and Hilda Gillikin.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Guthrie (Gary) of Wilmington, NC, Michael Rhinehardt (Cindy) of Marshallberg, NC, Dennis Rhinehardt of Marshallberg, NC and Eddie Gillikin of Gloucester, NC; and his sisters, Violet Gillikin and Elberta Salter of Otway, NC. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and countless nieces, nephews and friends.
