It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Henry Ellsworth Sprague Jr. of Gloucester, North Carolina, who passed away on July 18, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sprague and Jacqueline Sprague; and his brothers, Louis John Sprague and Robert Wesley Sprague. He is survived by: his close friend Connie Springer; his son Charles Johnson of Barnegat, NJ; and his siblings, Sharyn Rogers (John) of Oriental, Charlene Szaro (Pete) of Staffordville, NJ, Jackie Wainwright (Albert) of Tuckerton, NJ and Jason Howard Sprague (Jennifer Stewart) of Mayetta, NJ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that trees be planted in his memory.
